ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
Thou shall....
GODSPEED!
The laws and commandments of God were written for those who disobeyed and wanted to do things their own way. God gave written laws so that his children would not fall into sinning and would stay in the obedience of allowing himself to do what is righteous.
Today, you know very well that the laws and commandments of God are broken or disobeyed everyday. Men and women even children are unruly and flee away from God's laws and commandments. They are making their own laws and they are following the commandments of the land, and laws which pleases themselves. New laws are created by men everyday to suit their own needs. Many of these very laws are totally opposite of what God has given foryou to obey.
These commandments God has given unto you:
[Deuteromony 5: 6-21]
"I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
1. You shall not have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likness of anything that in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth; you should not bow down to them nor serve them. For I the Lord your God
visiting the inquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth
generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands to those who
love Me and keep My commandments.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not
hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
4. Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.
5. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath
of the Lord your God.
6. Honor your father and your mother, as your days may be well with you in the land.
7. You shall not murder.
8. You shall not commit adultery.
9. You shall not steal.
10. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Should you be like everyone else? Laws that cause you to disobey God are not laws and commandments you should follow. State and Government will make laws for the people giving them what they want which they celebrate the victory. Where their victory is filled with ways they sin and rejoice in the laws of men. You should not be like them because you belong to God. In belonging to God you are not your own anymore. Though you live in a land where government and state may separate you because you are Christ's, you too-- will become separted from the government and state and you should follow what God has given you in his laws. This will cause division because God's laws separates the good from the wicked. Jesus has fulfilled the laws and commandments of God; and those who are his true follows are subjected to obey them.
The disobedience of God laws has great consequences and those who disobey him will suffer to them, because they have left his commandments. God will chasten his own, and the wicked--even all those who disobey him. Yes, God is a God of mercy too, and to those who do not obey his laws will find his mercy lacking. God will avenge his own laws and commandments and God also will avenge his "REAL PROPHETS." God is just in his laws and commandments. Justly so, those who truly love God will keep his commandments. Read, study and learn and obey God's word.
