Loan Servicing Specialist 3
The Loan Servicing Specialist 3 with Wells Fargo Auto Repo Admin/Reinstatements - Specialty Collections Department performs a variety of operational processes and functions. Responsible for providing quality customer service while assisting customers whose vehicles have been repossessed by providing reinstatements and redemption quotes. Works in a professional, customer-centric, and high volume environment; taking inbound calls; and may make outbound calls utilizing direct dial system to initiate customer contact and provides necessary information to update and/or complete the reinstatement/redemption process.. Provides exceptional service while being empathetic when evaluating customers' situation to provide relevant details/information. Mitigates risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, as well as local, state and federal regulations. Refers more complex issues to a higher management.
Uses multiple online systems, recording information, importing/entering data, and maintaining records using considerable knowledge of department policy and procedures.Â Resolves issues and escalates unresolved or unusual issues as needed to senior staff members or management for guidance and resolution.Â Â May interact with internal Team Members and external vendors to obtain or share complex information, and in resolving issues.Â May work on special projects/assignments as needed.
Position Hours/Schedule: Flexible to work any hours during department's hours of operation, which are currently Monday â Friday, 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm. Hours may change due to business needs, including overtime when needed.
- 6+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment demonstrated through work or military experience
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Other Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred
- Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial industry collections, operations, sales, and credit; in an auto finance environment
- Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
