Gift Officer - Leadership
Job Summary:
Grow mid-level giving by qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospective and existing individual relationships. Manage a portfolio of individuals within the leadership gift band (up to $10,000).
Major Responsibilities:
- Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-level individuals in a portfolio of approximately 150+ prospects and donors
- Achieve annual financial leadership goals and defined performance metrics
- Engage current Make-A-Wish volunteers and friends to develop donor relationships
- Work with individual donors to fulfill their interest in giving
- Represent the Foundation at fundraising events, meetings, and activities
- Use existing systems and processes to track prospect/donor activity; ensure accuracy of information in database
- Support and assist with implementation of donor engagement opportunities
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven record of successful gift solicitations and goal attainment
- Proven relationship building record
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 3 – 5 years individual fundraising experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
