I live in Baltimore City and as I travel around town, I attempt to pay attention to who people are with , i.e. teenagers with teenagers, women pushing baby carriages, children with other children, but what is puzzling to me is I don't see much of families or what may resemble families walking together. I know that many persons may travel in cars but I'm speaking in terms of seeing them in grocery stores, shoe stores, clothing stores, parks, doctors offices, etc. What is interesting to me is I don't see many fathers and daughters except for in church (this is great), but is the relationship a rewarding one? Please give me some insight into why this may be happening? Let me explain, my father passed away when I was 30 years old and it hit hard not only because he was my dad, but he was my best friend! As a child, we had a wonderful relationship that was maintained into my adulthood and I believe as a result of this relationship, I am the fun-loving, giving, personable, lovable woman I am today. The pain of the loss of this relationship is what catapulted me to write the children's book entitled " I Have Two Daddies: An Earthly Daddy and A Heavenly Daddy". Please share your experiences about your relationship with your earthly daddy. Fathers, by all means, please share your experiences about your relationships with your daughter.
