The salvation tract: “God Became A Man” was published in 1998. Which was taken from the book “Evangelism Counseling-How to Counsel People About Salvation” by S. E. Gregg. It was designed into a 12-page booklet and S. E. Gregg was inspired by God to create the illustration for the front cover that would reflect the title of the tract. “God Became A Man” has been sold in bookstores for many years and can also be purchased online.
Recently the tracts were translated from the English language to the Burmese language. As to date over one hundred thousand (100,000) “God Became A Man” tracts have been printed in the Burmese language for the people of Myanmar.
The Burmese translator was Thang Khan Sian. He is a person that loves God and the people of his country. There is nothing to him that is more important in life than sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost in his country. He has several degrees. On February. 1, 2003 he received his B.Th at Grace Theological Seminary in Yangon, Myanmar. On March 14, 2004, a BD at South India Faith Baptist Bible College & Seminary in Bangalore, India. And finally on March 4, 2006 M.Th at Tabernacle Baptist Theological College& Seminary in Bangalore, India.

SEG (S.E. Gregg)- Thang Khan Sian, please tell us a little bit about yourself, where do you live?
TKS (Thang Khan Sian)- I live in Yangon, Myanmar which was formally known as Burma.
SEG- There was a terrible cyclone that hit your country last year. I was very concerned about your well being and the people of your country. How did it effect you?
TKS-The cyclone swept away uncountable things, But God wanted us to proclaim the gospel on this world so my family did not lose our lives, that was enough for us, of course we lost many including house, we shifted the place and staying in rented house. It is the nature of human life.
SEG-It was a blessing that God saved your lives because material things can be replaced. I am glad that you could see that God used that situation for the spread of the gospel. Tell us what your spiritual gifts are?
TKS-My spiritual gifts are teaching, preaching and exhortation. I am so happy when I am in those positions.
SEG -Yes, I know what you mean. It is nothing like that fulfilled feeling that you get when you are doing what God has called you to do. You want to do it non-stop.
Please tell us more? How are you using the spiritual gifts that God has given you?
TKS - I minister by teaching part -time in the Bible Colleges and six hours a week I devote my time to personal evangelism. I am also the founder of Shalom Children Home.
SEG- It sounds like you have a full time job doing God’s work. I can see that you have a heart for evangelism. Do you use any guidebooks to help you talk to people one on one about their salvation when you are on the streets doing evangelism?
TKS- “Evangelism Counseling-How to Counsel People About Salvation” is my guidebook when I visit for evangelism; It helps me a lot. I go three times in a week on the street to evangelize among unbelievers, and I hold the book when I am out of my home. The book is still at my hand.
But please pray continually for me, sharing the gospel to unbeliever is the hardest work but it has meaning. Sometimes I am very weak in spirit.
SEG- We will pray that God will continually renew your spiritual strength. What gospel tracts do you use in the streets of Myanmar?
TKS- I use “God Became A Man”; this tract is full of Bible references and it
explains the full meaning of salvation. It is helpful for us to carry anywhere, Sometimes we cannot share the gospel freely but we can pass the gospel through the tracts. Gospel tracts and books are one of the best to spread the gospel in Myanmar.
SEG-There are hundreds of gospel tracts. Why did you choose “God Became A Man”?
I am happy for the tract, It touched some one life, I got many responses to it, and it is easy to read and full of references. With this tract we need not to explain the gospel more because it is so clear. I have found many tracts but “God Became A Man” is the best for evangelist. It is full of references; any one can carry in their packets. And we can also hand over to unbelievers to study themselves.

TKS- The tracts is very precious to me, because it can preach and counsel where we can not go. So I love the tracts.
Every Sunday we invite unbelievers to our Sunday service, sometime ten-person come and sometimes five, three like that, we counsel them with God's word and send them with the tracts.
SEG- Tell us a little about the translation process and how long did it take you to do the translation? Was it hard?
TKS-It is not hard for me to translate, it takes only two, three, days, but I spent more than one week because I did not want to mistake even one word, and the root meaning.
SEG-God has certainly gifted you with the ability of translating languages.
TKS-I praise God for the tracts, I have shared out almost half the tracts that have been printed. I have contacts with some pastors and evangelists, in a week more than 2000 copies are sent out to unbelievers (Buddhist) I received many reports from them. I am so happy.
SEG- We will pray that God will continue to use you for His glory as you sacrifice your life everyday to give the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unbelievers in your country.
