A combination of a volcano and earthquake caused by the active volcano Etna in Rome may have triggered a 5.2 magnitude earthquake in Madrid, Spain. Sources reported the volcano may have contributed to the city of Madrid's plight of tremor earthquake which reportedly killed 12 people and injuring hundreds. People from Sicily felt the roar of the volcano on Thrusday, May 12, 201 which spewed ash and started a tremor which could be seen spreading from Etna's blast. Wedndesay following the tremor of the volcano gave traffic to a earthquake which shook dramatically in Madrid causing the severe quake. Expert Domenico Patane, director of the Sicily office of Italy s National Geophysics Institute said that Spain and Sicily are along the same earth plate which caused the reaction of the earthquake in Madrid on Wednesday, May 10, 2011.
