Writing to Harvest Souls for Christ:
A Local Festival Offers Christian Writers Encouragement and Resource Information
Baltimore – I bet you heard the old cliché that writing is therapeutic. Did you know the cliché really is true? Research studies reveal both emotional and physical benefits to expressive writing. Many people, especially Christian writers, believe writing offers relevant spiritual benefits, too. A group of authors who use writing as a tool to harvest souls for Christ - will share information regarding their book ministries at the first Christian Writer’s Literary Festival sponsored by Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT) at the Central Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library located 400 Cathedral Street (21201) on December 10, 2011.
The participating authors - members of Christian Authors on Tour, a national network of authors who are on fire for God and committed to using writing as a tool for Christian ministry – will sell their books and share writing ministry tips from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. “Writing as a tool for Christian ministry to me means being obedient and writing what God tells me to write – doing so, has a great reward…for the reader and me. If I’m transparent, someone else is always blessed,” explained Michele D. Rose, a contributing author to the “Keeping the Faith” anthology and one of the scheduled panelists at the Christian Writer’s Literary Festival.
