The retreat began in 2005 as a tour, and has since evolved into an annual retreat that is held in a different part of the country every year. What makes this conference different is a genuine atmosphere of love and friendship towards each other. Readers have a chance to network with authors as well as fellow readers and book clubs. Likewise, authors have an opportunity to pitch their book directly to publishers & agents, as well as to seek feedback established authors.
This year the Faith & fiction Retreat will be held in Dallas, TX. Last year it was in Sawgrass, FL, and the year before, in Atlanta, GA. Each year for the past two years, I traveled from my New Jersey home to attend the retreat because there is value in getting together with great people. This year I will be doing the same. Since my wife and I like to see new things, the retreat is also an opportunity to visit places that we have never been to before.
