Most people live unexamined lives. Perhaps you also have been putting off some of the heavy questions for a rainy day. But whether we address them or not, however, the big life issues will not disappear. They may go underground until a crisis appears – an accident, a child with a serious illness, or a looming divorce. All of a sudden, we start wondering what is the rock on which we have grounded our lives? What is faith in 2015 and do we really have it? Have you discovered your spiritual side or are you waiting for some crisis to emerge in your life. What are we missing about faith in 2015 and how is the Satan and his devils constantly work to undermine our faith in anyone or anything? Will our children have any faith as they evolve into young adults? How is your personal faith coming? Has your faith increased or decreased in 2015? How would you truthfully determine the answer to that? How can we make a stronger demonstration that we have increased in our faith? What is meant by the statement that we walk not by sight, but by faith because you can’t see where this road is going? What kind of faith does this hour require of each of us? As we head towards 10-10-2015 what should we use to buttress or reinforce our faith?
What difference does faith make to a marriage? Do couples have to share the same faith? That’s nice, but it’s more important to talk about what God means to you, what spiritual practices you find meaningful, and how you can support each other once you are married. If only one spouse believes that faith is important, how does he or she stay motivated to attend services if the other is sleeping or recreating? It’s not impossible, but it’s more supportive to go to services together. Finding faith in a partner who has let you down can be painful and difficult. Many couples spend so much of their energy trying to fix each other that they often forget to believe and trust in each other and they take Almighty God completely out of the equation. Some spouses wonder how can they trust someone who doesn’t seem to be changing for the better, or putting in the effort to make the relationship work? Are we as fully invested in our marriages as we are in our faith in 2015? What can spouses do to develop more faith in each other? What does keeping the faith in our marriage really mean in essence?
The time before marriage is an opportunity to take stock of your basic beliefs. Should singles have faith in 2015 that will still get married? What happens when a single brother or sister’s faith has run out in the immeasurable power of God to bless them with a spouse? How do we make our faith in Almighty God real in 2015?
