Mental Health First Aid® is an 8-hour national certification course that teaches the layperson the skills to recognize the signs of a mental health or substance use disorder crisis, identify community resources and link individuals in need of treatment and support to the proper resources.

*Priority will be given to Project Aware school districts for this training. Please note, persons trained under the Project AWARE grant cannot charge a fee to train youth-serving adults to be First Aiders.
