GET READY FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL CATHOLICFEST AND FINAL DAYS TO SUBMIT ART FOR CATHOLIC YOUTH ART CONTEST!!
The Middle School CatholicFest is a day long event that consist of games, talks, praise & worship and fellowship. Join other middle school youth groups from across the Archdiocese as we gather once a year to share, pray and celebrate together.

Schedule of the Day
10:00-10:30 – Registration, sign in, t-shirts, nametags
10:30-11:00 – Praise & Worship
11:00 – Welcome
11:15-12:15 – Keynote #1
12:15-12:30 – Adoration
12:40-1:20 – Lunch (Reconciliation will be available)
1:30-3:00 – Games, Inflatables, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy
2:45-3:30 – Works of Mercy Activities
3:40-4:30 – Keynote #2
4:40-5:10 – Large Group Activity
5:30-6:30 – Mass with Archbishop Gregory
6:30 – Closing, prizes announced and dismissal

THE DEADLINE FOR THE CATHOLIC YOUTH ART CONTEST IS FAST APPROACHING ON FEBRUARY 27, 2017!!
Youth may work in any medium: videos, PowerPoint, short story, painting, poetry, drama, song or photography. The work must be original and illustrate the annual theme, “Being Neighbors in Our Common Home”, as well as be accompanied by the official submission form and essay responses. This contest is open to all Catholic youth of the archdiocese in grades 7 – 12, including youth in Catholic schools, public schools or homeschool. Youth will submit their work directly to the Office of Life, Dignity and Justice. The Diocese will choose a Grand Prize winner and Runner-Up from each grade group (7-9, 10-12), and the Grand Prize winners will be submitted to the national contest.
Send artwork to RE: Justice & Peace Ministries, Office of Life, Dignity and Justice, 2401 Lake Park Drive SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 along with completed entry form.
• The Grand Prize winner (from each grade group) will receive a locally administered prize. In addition, the Grand Prize winners will be entered into the National Contest with the chance of winning $500!
• The Runner-Up (from each grade group) will receive a prize as well.
*The nationally winning students will also select a charitable organization to receive a matching donation in their name!
