In our day to day schedules, there will always be situations and circumstances that may try to compete for our attention.
Also, there will be individuals that come to us demanding on our precious and valuable time.
In the past, I used to be one that had a hard time saying no to others due to the guilt that they'd make me feel if I didn't do what they wanted me to do.
I learned with the help of the Lord, to let my ye mean yes and
my nay mean no We do not have to owe an explanation to anyone
on why we can't do what they feel as though we should do.
Sometimes, we may come to believe we
have to give an excuse for everything. We are unique individuals and people should respect that we have boundaries. We should not let them manipulate us into doing something that we do not want to do or things that we are not led to do. How many people have did something against their will due to the guilt that someone else made them feel if they didn't do that particular task? God has given us the freedom and the ability to make our own choices without owing anyone an explanation.
Do you struggle with saying no to others and sticking with your answer because of possible guilt? Don't worry! God can help you with this area as he has helped me.
Let him lead and guide you today!
