Let's be real. Is America really ready for a Black President. While I have issues with both sides of the campaign, I am looking at the issues and who can best lead this nation. I know that others are not looking at issues at all. Some are just not ready for a Black President. They would rather settle for the same old thing instead embracing something better. On Cspan one viewer said he would vote for a monkey before he voted for a Black man. Yes, there folks out there that still think like this. What are the perceptions perceptions of the Black man? Can Black men ever overcome those perceptions? What can we do?
Can America overcome her prejudices and embrace someone who they are not accustomed to leading? What are folks saying around your water cooler? I would love to hear your thoughts.
